The 2026 Discovery comes with two powertrains, and both use an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive:

• P300 S and P300 Dynamic SE: a 296-hp 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with up to 5,952 lbs of towing capacity.
• P360 Gemini Edition: a 355-hp 3.0L inline-six mild hybrid, finished in Sedona Red with its own wheel design.
• P360 Tempest Edition: the top trim, with a copper-accented roof and interior plus matte protective paint film.

With the P360 engine, the Discovery can tow up to 8,200 lbs, which is plenty for a center-console boat headed to Black Point Marina or Matheson Hammock. Electronic air suspension gives you up to 11.2 inches of ground clearance, and a 35.4-inch wading depth means Miami's summer downpours and flooded side streets are much less of a worry. Terrain Response 2 adjusts the SUV for sand, gravel, wet grass, and slick pavement.
